Positive: The house was very clean, in good condition and well stocked. The kitchen, dining area and living room were spacious and open. The bathrooms and showers were nice & accessible. The deck, BBQ and lounge chairs were great when the weather got better. The decor all around the house was beautiful and true to the coastal feeling. Plenty of parking. Nice beach areas nearby.
Negative: The view of the ocean wasn't as much as I had hoped- but the river view was better.

Positive: The location was very nice...close to beach & restaurants. There were 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, the third bath in the basement is a 3 piece only, but still very functional when you need the extra space. The upstairs, which had the kitchen, living room & the deck , had good views & was relaxing.
Negative: The quality of the accommodations was not what we expected. Spider webs in the wash/lounge area downstairs, so it did not seem as if everything was cleaned between visits. Towels were tiny- appliances outdated. In order to do anything you have to go up and down at least two of the three flights of very steep stairs. It was great to be able to be together in one spot, but we would have appreciated a little more luxury touches for the price.
Summary: Pacific Beach is a great location! The accomodations were not the 4 star we expected.
